I bought a skeet choke a few years back from them and never had an issue. I decided to get some extended chokes for an old Baikal O/U. Ordered 3 of them. A skeet 1, IC, and a skeet 2. I received my order in a timely matter. Apon receiving them the invoice and product I got was a skeet 1, IC, and a modified. I thought I messed up when I ordered them. I called the company, and they looked it up and found that it wasn't my error but theirs. I asked to send the modified back and they said no, keep it, and we will send you the proper skeet 2. I got it in 3 days. This is awesome. the TiNi coating is superb. Customer for life.

Great company, superb quality & they shipped to IRELAND!
I was truly impressed by their very high level of customer service, sorry to say, but in Europe we are just not accustomed to it (not including the UK).
Actually I ordered these chokes together with some other Colonial chokes before Christmas for my friend in Ireland who has a 12gauge Baikal MP-43KH Side by Side with exposed hammers (like the Bounty Hunter 2 coach gun in the US, but with the longer 71cm / 28" barrels).
Thanks to the clear technical information on the Colonial Choke and Tool web site, it was possible to make the correct choke selection. As the Baikal shotgun shares the Tru-Choke style threads (.795” x 44tpi - teeth per inch) with other gun brands, it is not so straight forward to select a choke. This is because different gun brands use different nominal bore diameters, the Baikal is a 0.725” (18.4mm) diameter (.729 is a more common barrel diameter). That simply means that a Baikal Cylinder choke (with .000 constriction) will have an exit diameter of .725 inch.
Anyway due to this nonconformity, my friend was having difficulties in selecting the correct chokes for lead shot (they don’t seem to use any steel shot in Ireland). So when he choose different brand choke marked as X-Full, that choke naming was actually based upon steel shot patterning and had a .700 exit diameter, which gave him an IM improved modified (British 5/8) when using lead shot (a .025 constriction).
So a choke on the Baikal having a .705 exit diameter will give a Modified (British 1/2) pattern using lead shot, that means selecting a Colonial choke marked as improved modified which has a .705 (.020 constriction) exit diameter.
My friend tried out all chokes on the pattern board over the festive season and he is totally satisfied with the results and informed me that they are really excellent quality.

I bought a used shotgun and was told that it had a colonial choke system. I wasn't sure how to order a custom aftermarket tube, but the person I spoke to on the phone helped me to get what I was after, and I made my order online. Immediate response, & shipping. I am very impressed with the fit and quality. Pattern is also terrific. ND pheasants will not be pleased this fall! I will be ordering from these folks again.

What a great company !
After a small glitch.....one of the two choke tubes I ordered was the wrong one... With an email which was quickly answered I had my new tube the next day.
Along with the new tube was a sample of grease and a prepaid mailing slip .
This is how customer service should be .

Got the IC or 1/4 chokes on the sporting choke option with the TINI(golden colour) didn't take too long to arrive to the UK. They look fantastic on my Baikal and seem to pattern well shot round with 7.5 8 and 9s all good clean breaks. Chokes feel well made and fit perfectly. Just need to get a full set now. Only bad thing is the import tax by royal mail £14.

I had trouble getting choke tubes to fit my Russian made Remington. Colonial not only had the proper tubes but had them to me in five days. The tubes are quality built and worked great.
Thank you Colonial.
